Maybe God spared the GOP because he agrees with them? Or maybe its just in the nature of hurricanes to be unpredictable and change their paths for no obvious reason. Get over yourself Mr. Jackson!
Sorry Sammy, but Isaac is now a Category One hurricane headed directly for NOLA. But there is good news: it will provide the MSM the excuse they need not to cover the Republican convention, it will also give Obama the opportunity to look like a real President as he mobilizes the creaky federal government apparatus.

One thing Sammy didn't consider is the common sense of GOP conventioneers. If Isaac was going to directly hit Tampa, they'd evacuate when told to do so by city/govt officials. Another thing to consider is this storm could wind itself up to a Cat 5 and go directly into New Orleans. What would happen next? Katrina 2.0.
History would repeat itself, guaranteed.

Maybe he should actually explore that idea. If he wants to know why "God has spared" the GOP, maybe it's because God is sending a message? And maybe that message is that Samuel L. Jackson could be.... (deep breath).... (moment of anticipation)... WRONG!!!???!!!... there I said it!
I know, I know. It seems impossible that such a scholarly man (a professional actor/liar for goodness sake, he has PLAYED the smartest guys imaginable, that's gotta rub off, right?) could possibly not think correctly, but God apparently said it - not me!
