San Francisco legislates bird-safe buildings. “The proposed legislation would require builders to install treated windows on any new construction determined to pose a great risk to birds.” We figured they would require all the windows to be removed so the birds could just fly straight thru the buildings. From the comments: “How about bird-safe windmills?”

How about giant warning signs for birds next to each high rise? Better yet, how about large warning signs at all California border crossings for humans with IQs over 40 thinking about moving in?
