Did I not tell you all months ago that Romney would be the annointed candidate? All the money, travel, arguements, news stories etc were all for naught. They were simply to give people the illusion they had a choice of candidates. Give you a hint. I'll probably vote republican out of desperation, but both sides are about the same
Come on now, Rose. You got to admit, the Republican side is MARGINALLY better.
On a few things. But overall, one is about the same as the other. The rhetoric is slightly different.

I wish Santorum would stay in. With his daughter's recent illness and the constant mud being thrown his way, I can understand why he is stepping aside. As for Newt, damaged goods.
Let us see if Romney will attack barry the same way he went after those in the Republican party. Mitt better understand this is a fight to the bitter end and he needs to be ready to get into the mud and trenches in order to remove barry from the WH.
So when barry and cronies start in about wanting all of the records for the last 2 decades, the response needs to be just as soon as you open up all of your records and we do mean all of your records. Until then, it will be the only records that are required by law. Just like barry having a real birth certificate, a real SSN and a real selective service number.
Obama and Romney and Santorum and Gingrich all support the Patriot Act and NDAA indefinite detention. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who opposes the Patriot Act and NDAA. He's also the ONLY candidate who is serious about stopping the runaway spending and debt. He's also the only veteran, and he gets more donations from active-duty military than anyone else including Obama.

Although many of us would love to see Ron Paul in the White House, it's just not going to happen. He's a man I can vote for without reservation, but I don't think I'll ever get the chance.

The way the republican party has manipulated the delegate results and with the media purposely blacking out anything to do with Ron Paul, I would encourage Ron to run. That would teach the Republican Establishment a lesson when their chosen one doesn't get elected. So what if Obama wins, nothing will get improved in the Feds wasteful spending, bailouts, handouts, anyway... regardless of who wins the presidency. Ron Paul is the only one supporting abolishment of the private banks erroneously called the Federal Reserve, nothing "Federal" about it.
And the good thing, if he does, is that I can vote for him without "wasting my vote." Since I live in California, it doesn't matter who I vote for. Obama will get California's electoral votes anyway.
Last I heard, a move was on to change the sttus in those states with proportional electoral votes to winner take all. Obamarama is getting nervous. I think ALL states should be proportional, but gee, that might be fair!
He would run a lot stronger if the primaries were held in red states first as well. Much stronger.
Most Ron Paul supporters are zealous anti-war and/or pro-drug legalization fanatics. I'd wager most will vote democrat in the general election.
A Ron Paul supporter called in today to a local radio talk show and immediately distinguished himself as a complete craphead by saying that Santorum wanted to send other people's kids to die, but when it came to his own kid, that was a big deal.
I think Mittens will win this November. I'm not thrilled over the fact that the nominees are a far left wing Democrat and maybe slightly right leaning Democrat, but what's a guy to do. No matter which wins, I personally don't think Americas future looks bright.

Sure, but they'll never carry the state in a general election, so what's the point? Run the primaries starting out with red states and I'm willing to bet Romney is not the front-runner at this stage in the game. Nothing against him, but Obama is going to chew his ass up when the healthcare law gets struck down. They'll use the "we modeled it after Romney care" line with huge success. They'll be able to hold their heads high and say"who knew it was unconstitutional, it wasn't when Romney did it." These sorry mother fkers are masters at lying and deception. Give them something with a shred of truth to it and they will excel.

We'll soon find out. The LSM and demonrats will now expose mittens weaknesses, from romney care to mormonism, with a passion. I agree the demonrats got the candidate they wanted. I just hope he can stand up to the onslaught.
I hope he ignores the BS that's going to get tossed at him and focuses strictly on dickboy's record. He could campaign for 8 years on the errors, lies, broken promises and failed policies alone. That is where he needs to focus. He also needs to drop off the radar until we get closer to the convention. He's a gaffe waiting to happen and unlike dickboy or Biden, it will get tons of air time when he does misspeak.
It's like the joke I got today. If a politician yells "You lie!" in a room full of politicians, how do you know who he was yelling at?

Disappointing, but I guess it was time. Santorum doesn't have Romney's wealth and there's no use going into deep debt when Rick has a large family including a special needs child. Rick's decision may have been aided by a 3 million dollar attack ad buy by Romney in Pennsylvania which was basically going to say that Pennsylvanians didn't want Santorum as their Senator and don't want him as their President.
