This might not be all bad. The sooner the middle east turns itself into a glowing sheet of glass from Iran to Saudi, the better off the entire world will be.
Why doesn't Obama just eliminate the middleman, and send assorted nukes to everyone in the Middle East, including Hamas?
Once he equally arms everyone, he can count on them refusing to use them on each other, they will use them on Israel and us!

The nuclear club used to screen members, now it appears like private schools and country clubs, Obama wants to let any nutcase in, in the name of equality. And Obama will say, Hey I didn't know that Iran vaporized another country till I read it in the paper. I will send them a sternly worded memo tomorrow right after my golf game....
The UAE already has a nuclear program and is building plants. Same engineers as Eskimos use for their snow generation machines....

Don't fall into the Obama trap of equating nuclear power generation with what the Iranians are doing. They're enriching uranium to create nuclear weapons. THAT is what the Saudis are saying they will match. This possibility was always forestalled by the U.S. guarantee that Iran would not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Now, Obama has ruined the whole concept of nuclear non-proliferation by dicking around with Iran like a high school moron. Centrifuges are centrifuges -- you can't really tell why a centrifuge is enriching uranium without being on site. But fortunately the Iranians are quite open about what they're doing - they're building a nuclear missile to destroy Israel. And Saudi Arabia's Sunnis know that Iran's Shi-ites will be looking at them too.
Sorry, wasn't specific in my comments. The UAE having nuke facilities isn't a justification of Iran, more that the Sunni's have had their own contingency plans in place for the Shiite bomb that Iran is trying to get. I'm not saying that UAEs program is actually developing the bomb, but if IRan goes nuke, you sure can assume that can change quickly.
In this world today, if I ran some countries, I'd be looking at how to streamline the nuke program. Poland comes to mind. If NATO goes wobbly, they'll be one of the first to go.
I agree with you. Once Obama allows Iran to have a bomb, how can anybody blame the Sunnis in the peninsula for wanting one?
