Who pays for these studies?
You do, of course: the great American taxpayer, upon whose overburdened shoulders even the most idiotic government expenditure will always fall.

I think what we're seeing here is evidence of how skewed the scientific community has become. The enormous amounts of money governments are pouring into research grants for Global Warming is making even the ant guys think about how they can tap into the money vein.
We need $500 million to study how IHTM affects climate.

All the contributing authors get 10% each, the rest gets evenly distributed among the regular posters.
