The most prominent lesson that this will teach the underclass, is that if they keep electing criminal creeps, they will keep getting free stuff that others must pay for. The most prominent lesson for the rest of us, is that we cannot allow criminal creeps to get in or stay in office or they will take our resources and give them to the underclass, who will soon become loyal liberal voters.
I got several years ago dial up for 10 bucks a month. Considering time has passed it is probably less now for some providers. Those that want things to be a bit faster can still use the libraries and junior/state colleges. If you really want it in the home, shop around there will be cheap options for faster cable or dsl internet. I don't understand why the government has to provide this when it is so easily and cheaply accessible by other means. It is disgusting.

And in what way does free surfing for porn and Facebook pages benefit these people? Because we all know that using the internet for looking for work or information is the last thing these leeches are going to do.
The FCC needs to take a nice loooooong walk off of a VERY short pier. Who gave them the authority to spend my tax dollars?
