School official takes 800K pay cut for schools. Wait. This guy made $250,000 per year as a school superintendant? How do we get more back from him? Well, at least he gets his pension… please remove all sharp objects from within your reach when you watch this video.

The guy is giving up 800k in salary and possibly the 31k, but he IS going to hang on to the 6 figure retirement pay and the great insurance package. He then sanctimoniously tells us how everyone in his postition should follow his lead. The 800k is truly a gross overpayment but so is the huge retirement. He is a civil servant. It turns my stomach watching a "civil servant" talking about the great financial shape he and others in his position are in while my business faces bankruptcy trying to keep up with all the taxes I must pay!! He can go to hell.
Honestly, if the school system finds it profitable to pay him 250,000 a year to oversee the local schools, then whatever. Oh wait, it's public sector, and there is no profitability. Voucher system now. If this guy is that good, then he will be making 500,000 a year.
I could believe the School Superintendent in Beverly Hills might make this kind of money, but...Fresno? I also have to believe that when he said he has a "pretty good retirement" he meant that it's based on the full amount he was supposed to get. not on the reduced amount.
