Commenting on President Obama’s declaration of class warfare “millionaires tax” proposal, Schumer said “$250,000 makes you really rich in Mississippi but it doesn’t make you rich at all in New York and there ought to be some kind of scale based on the cost of living on how much you pay.” On the other hand, Chuck, New Yorkers put folks like you in office so they deserve what they get.

Simple solution. If you propose a tax, or vote for a tax, then ONLY the people that voted for you should pay the tax, regardless of income.
How many Dems do you think would be reelected then?
Your solution is the opposite of what Wilkow calls the "zero liability voter" - the tax recipient who votes to keep the free stuff coming without giving a moment's thought to where or how the free stuff is paid for. You just proposed the "all-in voter". I like it.

Tax rate on Millionaire politicians should be 95 percent. Chuck I don't give a rats ass what state you are in, If you live in New York or Kalifornia you know it's expensive, you just don't want you buddies in the Big Apple to pay their fair share. No, he understands what's at stake. He understands that taxing the hell out of the biggest earners who could move to a more tax friendly place easily will hurt NY if they do leave. These people can do what they do on Wall St in other places, & some have left already. He's protecting his constituents, but the fact he understands this is damning. His entire life is centered around political power & how to increase it at any cost. Schumer's philosophy is 1 of failure, dependency, & abusive taxation. He wants to pick the winners personally for his own gain. He would deny this, but he is wrong, & deep down inside he knows it is. That is why I can never respect Schumer or people like him.

Schumer is a POS. The right thing to do is to eliminate the income tax altogether and institute the Fair Tax. This way everybody pays because everybody consumes, and nobody is punished for hard work and productivity.
