Scientists may have spotted alien artifacts orbiting distant star. The suspicious debris is approximately 1,500 light years away in the Cygnus constellation (above), so resolution is not optimum, but hey, it’s about time we found our first monolith.

They can't get a god picture of a robbery suspect in a store, but they know what is thousands of light years away?
I doubt whatever it is they are looking at still exists.

I was hoping for a picture... I have wondered many times... is there such a thing as trash in Heaven... maybe they don't eat nor use products and therefore no trash, but if I am right that there are interstellar technology available/created by G-D, then is there trash as part of it being a real thing? Is the trash disposed off (how) or recycled or what? Uhm...
I don't know... but I think about such things from time to time...
Now is it possible that trash travels quickly through the universe from our Planet? sure... but I doubt it... so if this is truly trash it must come from another Planet... or it could be angels throwing the extra stuff they don't need from their building whatever into the universe... fascinating...
No, they can't take a picture. What they do is watch the star around which the stuff is orbiting and when it dims slightly they know something passed in front of it. They can watch that dimming with enough resolution to calculate whether it's a planet and they can watch the star with enough resolution to estimate the mass of the object(s) and from those tentative bits of data they can guess what an object might be. But they never actually "see" anything.
uhm... so all of this is just conjecture to get people falsely interested in astronomy and possibly get grants...
Everything astrologists say about the universe is conjecture. Other than very tiny bits of information scientists got from the New Horizons probe, which flew by Uranus and Pluto, and the Martian rover they really don't know anything about space or other galaxies. There is no base line to compare information, nothing from man has ever been in the far reaches, so everything published is guesswork to be taken with a big grain of salt.
