In a way this will be a leap forward for restaurants and their customers. Automation will deliver better, more consistent, and faster food. Imagine never having to worry about a surly leftist employee spitting in your food or the illegal alien cook not washing their hands. It will be a revolution. Also imagine the owner of the food establishment being able to deliver this enhanced service and keeping the end price point the same while pocketing the 20% tip that would go to the surly server.
I helped automate manufacturing and I know younger engineers are busy automating the service industry. Remember that progressive fascists (birm) have great sounding names for the policies that destroy the middle and working lower classes.
