• Democrat Lemming Kristen Powers stated earlier today that she believes that Obama was probably lied to *rolls eyes* come on! You cannot be that stupid Kristen. She sometimes is very moderate, but right now I can't respect her for that.

• Bull Shit. Quagmire knows exactly what is happening thru out his administrator. He's just got fool and idol worshipers willing to fall upon their swords for him.

• What he knew ahead of time is irrelevant. The entirety of his administrations policies makes no sense unless one considers the possibility that the intent is to undermine the middle class and destroy the economy that supports it- creating a permanent majority that is dependent on some sort of handout from a government- a majority that is by and large brainwashed into seeing the continuity of their monies being contingent on continually electing progressives to government. Obamacare would serve as an effective centerpiece of such a campaign.

• So now several Democrats in Congress are calling for a delay of the individual mandate. Anyone else thinking if they are successful, why did we just live through a partial shutdown of the federal government? The answer in my opinion was because it was a considered political decision that the administration was certain would inflict pain on Americans and it also knew that the sycophantic media and RINOs would do the rest to shape public opinion and cause infighting within the GOP. Three weeks ago the GOP tried to negotiate that very point but the administration and Reid refused to consider it. Now it is a good idea?

  Does that mean that all the billions spent and the 16 (however many) state exchanges and the fed x and their fancy websites are only up until the end of March?

  • Apparantly, from what I read, there is a lawsuit filed because the IRS overstepped their bounds and are offering subsidies to the people in the states who opted out of the exchanges, in direct violation of the letter of the law. Supposedly, if your state opts out, the employer mandate is unenforcable, and you can't be fined for not signing up.

    • I'm just having a hard time figuring\finding out what that March 31 date is. "final day that people will be able to purchase health insurance on the public exchanges". Forever, for that tax year, for this years prices, what?

      And they're gonna weasel it. First announce a magnanimous delay (6 wks) because the deadline for having to have coverage (fine) comes weeks earlier than the cutoff to buy (that's what happens when you don't read the cf before 'finding out what's in it'), just so all the LIVs can say, "See, he cares and he's trying" and to prime the pump, get people used to the idea.

      Prime the pump for the down and dirty stuff to follow. And it's gonna get nasty
