Second-in-command of the country’s nuclear arsenal is suspended as he is investigated for GAMBLING. Nice the government puts potential blackmail victims in charge of nuclear secrets. We have to wonder why the all seeing all knowing NSA didn’t know about this one.

Why did it take this long to find out about his gambling issues? The NSA should have been all over this one. Yet they where busy checking on all of us regular people while the second in command of all the nuclear arsenal that the USA has is out gambling. Wonder what he knows or what he has on someone to have been allowed to stay in his position for so long?
Bet the Naval Academy will be asking for the ring back on the left hand and Im not talking about the wedding band. Bet he wont be knocking that ring any time soon on his desk.
If the government doesn't want the military to gamble, then why did they put an Air Force base in Las Vegas?

Frankly I'd have been more surprised if he were a card carrying Commun-- err... Democrat. The man exudes an intelligence that seems to come from an ability to think critically... perhaps such people will identify as liberal when young- their thinking abilities invariably carry them out of that fold.
Libertarian is more or less what I'd expect.
His daddy was(a commie), Arlo over the years since then leaves me scratching my head. I think he's a closet "real lifer" (libertarian at heart), but still does the folk somgs to keep the residuals rolling in.
I've seen some things where he railed against local schools and sounded sane.
