We see some really wacky stuff in the course of putting together IHateTheMedia.com every day, but this one is just plain laughable.
Senate democrats were in such a hurry to piss away another $26 billion of our tax dollars that passed they couldn’t hold off long enough to give it a name. So H.R. 1586 passed with the name “______Act of____.”
Seriously. They passed the Blank Act of Blank. We can only assume they did it so they’d have less not to read.
The Cato Institute reports that the Democrats might be nameless, but they’re not blameless:
As reported on the WashingtonWatch.com blog and cnet news, this highly unconventional name may be what goes into law. With the Senate out of town until September, there is no chance to pass a correcting amendment in both houses. The constitution requires both to pass identical bills, so the House must take up the “______Act of____” and pass it as such.
If it does, the “law with no name” will stand as a lasting tribute to the inattention Congress gives its work. Spending billions of taxpayer dollars is a hurried and casual affair for our lawmakers.
This is one case, we assume, when it’s absolutely proper to say, “Stop spending our blankety blank money.”

This is laziness to the max and of course this tells me they dont give a fig about the country at all. They are NOT EVEN TRYING to hide their contempt for the country and its citizens.
If we don't know the name of the bill or what is in the bill , then we wont know when to complain, or what to complain about . See there is a method to their madness

This is criminal. They are so in a hurry to loot and plunder as much as they can before they get booted out that they don't even bother with procedure anymore. How can this be a legitimate piece of legislation? How can this be a legitimate Congress? Because they were voted in through elections? So that gives them a blank check to do to us whatever the hell they want with no limits to their power?
These despots ought to be thrown in prison for the rest of their natural lives...after a speedy trial, of course.
