Senate rejects background checks on gun purchases in 54-46 vote. “The Senate delivered a devastating blow to President Obama’s agenda… What appeared to be a likely victory for Obama was resoundingly defeated by the Senate as jittery Democrats facing tough re-elections next year joined nearly the entire Republican conference.” Bipartisan!

Cry me a river there Quagmire, you useless communist traitor. I hope he's so mad he pops a blood vessel.
You Do Know the UN ( Useless Nation) is going for world gun reform . So if there is a problem the Useless Nation will step in and take what they want. And the great OB is giving them Extra 4 Million a year to see it gets done.
Obama: “All in all this was a pretty shameful day for Washington”
What he doesn't get is that the people have spoken! Senators and Representatives have listened to their constituents and they have acted accordingly. That is NOT a shameful thing, it is the way the system is supposed to work. That Obama would say something like this exposes his ignorance and his childish behavior.
The day Obama was elected was a shameful day for the whole country. Maybe people are starting to wake up.

No that was the first and second time he bought an election.....
Heard a small chunk of audio from the Dear Leader's presser after the vote. Sounds like he was hopping mad. It's funny, when one of his pet projects gets broomed out suddenly he's all fired up. Where was that level of anger over Benghazi?
crickets.........
Now he's going to head to this dog and pony interfaith prayer event in Boston and have to pretend he cares...
I like "Pouty 0bozo".
46 voted against it. There are 54 who voted for this POS legislation. Those are the ones who need to be removed from office.
other way around I think
Unnhhhhh. We won. That means the 54 were on our side!
sad that 46 voted for it. I could probably name them.
What's sad is how easy it would be to do that, on just about every issue.
90% that bitches!!!
Never heard from anyone how that would have prevented Sandy Hook and it was nothing but the first step to full registration and we all know where that ends up.
It wouldn't have stopped it at all. The checks in place caught Lanza and prevented him from purchasing a firearm. He used a firearm that his mother purchased.
He never tried to purchase a firearm. He had a houseful to choose from that his mother bought for him as gifts and for her own use.
Full registration x disarmed citizens - their wealth = starving peasants who are easy to control
Math is fun but here are story problems then there are story problems.
