Seniors lose insurance and doctors under Obamacare

• Due to the fact that the way this country treats their elderly is already a fucking shame, this is just adding insult to injury.

• It's a good thing my libturd parents didn't live long enough to see the fulfillment of their libturd dreams...Obamacare. I don't think they'd be real happy with the way things turned out...they weren't big Bush 1 or 2 fans and they didn't like Ronald Reagan either. Somehow, I don't think they would have voted for Obama...they were pretty racist in their old age. Hell, I don't know, they probably would have voted for the name with a D attached to it. Sometimes it sucks to be a libturd's son.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. For me, it was my grandparents, big time FDR fans. I don't blame them, they were brainwashed like most of their generation.

• Obama had ZERO intention of keeping any of his promises- which were made solely to placate an easily duped public. We have been intentionally sold down the river with this money and power grab yet people seem too busy engaging in the contrived partisan infighting purposefully provoked by the demagogues in charge to notice or even care.

  As a whole we have exactly the government we deserve. If we think we deserve better then we need to effect the change ourselves through whatever means necessary instead of entrusting that to yet another corrupt bureaucrat or group of corrupt bureaucrats.

• A friend of a friend (a fellow Sailor and Navy Chief) tried to scold my friend (a liberal and ardent Obama supporter, mind you) that all this negative reporting on ObamaCare is just sensationalism. My friend had posted a link talking about how Obama was trying to force Military families out of the system by hiking the TriCare premiums by 100-300%. She thought my friend was better than that. The President promised the military and veterans that TriCare would be exempt. I responded that he also said that if you liked your insurance and doctor you could keep it. Period. End of story. NO MATTER WHAT. And look, over 170K veterans have already received TriCare Prime cancelation notices. So seeing that his other promises have already been broken. And at least one of his promises she mentioned about the military and vets being exempted seems to be in the process of being broken.... How exactly is the story sensationalized reporting?? *crickets*

  • We are part American Indian. When my Mother compalined that she was tossed out of miitary care when she reached medicare age, I reminded her. When has the government EVER kept its promises to us?

  • I'm waiting to get my notice that my VA coverage is being cancelled, and I will have to sign up for Obamacare.
