Ok , as if the illegal alien part didn't piss me off enough, why was someone with his record of "serious violations" pled down toa slap on the wrist sentence? Even if he was a citizen, this is ridiculous. He endangered himself and others, and apparently has a history of doing so. Lock his ass up!
If he was a white citizen, he'd be in jail.

I'm in Arizona. Almost 85% of the accidents here are by illegals with no ID, no DL, no Ins., nothing. I had one hit me last year. I pay for it. Why? The reasons I just mentioned. Those cockroaches have more rights than the people born on our soil. It's sickening. I try not to think about the cockroaches because it gets my BP going real good. This happens all the time here. They even sentence them and the day they get released--nobody there to deport them. Napolitano was our X-gubment here so not many things have changed since she left and when we have tried to change the law, a long comes Prez Toad and he sues us till the bleeding heart fed lib. sanctuary supreme court judges in Kalifornia can find a way to skate around that too. These cockroaches are getting attitudes that they can do as they damned well please. All I can say--"Get off my lawn." BLAM!
Five years ago in, you guessed it, California, my truck was hit by an illegal alien. He was hauling ass in reverse across a parking lot, and barely missed hitting my fiance, as she was walking towards the truck at the time. If he had hit just a bit off to the side of where he hit, he would have crushed her between his car and my truck.
I was inside the restaurant, so my fiance called me and told me to get out there in a hurry. The driver, who of course had no license, or insurance, wasn't even his car, was already trying to offer money to pay for the damage, just so we wouldn't call the police. First he offered $2,000, but I had no idea if that would cover the damage. Then he offers $3,000. Says he'll bring it to me tomorrow. Ok, right. Call the police.
Highway Patrol shows up, and WRITES HIM A TICKET! Yeah, a lot of good that will do. My uninsured motorist coverage pays the damage, and Jose walks away. As you guys have said, it happens all the time.
How the hell is he on work release? Illegal aliens are not supposed to be working here in the first place. Ugh! I need a drink.
Here in Kalifornia the same things happen. I once arrested the same guy twice in 18 hours for DUI, Once he was driving on a sidewalk, once going the wrong way on a one way street. Both times his B.A.C was over .24. He wasn't even sober when they let him out the first time. He had no license, I impounded his car, so he goes and gets another one. 6 hours after the second arrest out again! You loose .02 per hour on your intoxication level (that's the same for everyone) so the guy was still legally drunk when he left both times! He forgot to show up in court and had a warrant issued. Probably changed his name from Jorge to Juan and is still out there driving drunk. That's the kind of shit that scares me when I am on the roads in Kalifornia because this is like an epidemic. Add in stoned drivers with their medical cannabis, tweekers, people on prescription drugs and just plain unlicensed illegal aliens, and you chance of being involved in a serious accident or killed is about one in ten in Kalifornia. On average 2 in ten drivers are impaired at any given time....and yet they let this POS out on work release.
You don't think he is gonna disappear? Damn right he will first chance he gets, Next he'll end up in another City that turns a blind eye toward illegals, and maybe there he'll have the chance to finish his suicide mission and take out some innocent family. Drinking and driving is no problem when your in Mexico and your a citizen there, you drink, you drive, no problem. This scenario plays out all over the place, every day. I was rear-ended in 2002 by a young man who plowed into me at 40 mph or so while I was nearly standing still in traffic. I was driving a compact at the time and actually struck the big pickup in front of me, but I guess he didn't even feel it, because he took off. The young man had a very heavy Hispanic accent, spoke very little English, and was quite anxious for me not to call the police. I was so stunned that I got his contact info and figured, this is what I pay my insurance company for. Oh yes: he had NO ID, and NO driver's license, and NO proof of insurance.
Some weeks later, the insurance company reported back to me that he was in the country illegally, was borrowing someone else's car, and basically it would be like trying to get blood out of a turnip, and we settled for the cost of my medical bills. I'm really NOT the kind of person to yell "whiplash!" but 9 years later, my shoulder is still not the same.
Could have been a lot worse. He could have been drunk. He could have been in a great big pickup truck or SUV. He could have hit me head-on. Like I said, this scenario plays out with infinite variations all over the country, and it will keep playing out until someone IMPORTANT gets hurt or killed.
