Among current veterans, a full 53% view Trump favorably compared to just 41% for McCain. McCain’s unfavorable rating with this group is also higher than Trump’s, 49% to 42% respectively.

It is my primary reason for having no outrage toward Trump, and having total animosity toward McCant.
Simply put, veterans are sick and tired of the shit that Insane McCain goes along with Obama on, Like Now the V.A. Said it needs two and a half billion more otherwise they are gonna shut down hospitals and clinics. MCCain just sits back on his ass and says Huh?????
I didn't care for Trumps comments about McCant's service record but what happened over 40 years ago has no bearing on his record as a Senator. John Boy has done nothing to help vets in all the years he has been in Washingtoon unless there was a political advantage in it for him. We didn't hear crap from him when the scandals at VA hospitals across the country came to light, a few token words in front of a camera but no action.
McCain has done nothing to stop the cutting of funds to rural clinics scattered all across the country, forcing those of us who live in the flyover states to travel hundreds of miles to the nearest VA facility. The same facilities that continue to see their fundings increase while veterans care goes down the toilet. All we hear out of that assholes mouth is "this is something that needs looking into."
I know a lot of vets, many of us talk daily, and to a man and woman we support Trump and his stance on illegal immigration and now we want to hear more about veterans issues. Trump set up a website just for this purpose, he wants to hear from vets and what kinds of problems we have getting the medical care we were promised when we were drafted or volunteered to serve our country. Not only am I not a fan of McCant, I also don't have a problem with Trump's comments about him. If you remember, there was a post the other day that noted McCant said in his book that he was treated better than the other prisoners he was held with, but he was the one that did a propaganda tape for the Vietnamese. He also, while a senator, joined with Kerry to put a stop to efforts to find remaining POWs. He was also nasty to the families of POWs that tried to approach him about it. He's scum of the highest order and I no longer respect him.
