• What is a Starbucks? It sounds like something out of a Star Wars movie, maybe a male deer with an awesome rack of horns? (snicker)

  • Looks like some kind of Mother Gaia Space Alien to me.

• One of the more contrary comments over there actually made a rather good point:, although damned if I'd admit it to his virtual face: Christians also spend a helluva lot of time griping about the commercialization of Christmas -- now we're griping because SB isn't?

• If it wasn't for the free WiFi for the hipsters to mooch off, they'd already be out of business, because their burnt offering that passes for coffee sucks.

  • When I'm living in an RV Park that doesn't have solid WiFi, I go to StarStrucks, get a sweet iced tea, and burn up their airwaves for a while. When I'm here in my winter digs, Bakersfield, the only reason I could think of to go there would be to visit one of the cutest baristas ever.

• I think I'm going to follow SBUX's lead and simplify all of my family's Christmas stockings this year by not stuffing them with SBUX gift cards, coffee beans, or any other items they sell.

  • Yeah I can't be mad at a business I don't even go to about doing stupid sh*t... Besides the Christmas they are talking about is secular anyway, so they are doing things against the secular celebration which is stupid to me. They are not even truly insulting nor cleansing the Christian religious holiday... they are being stupid against the secular side of it. I mean it is pretty hilarious.
