• Finally a weapon that makes the Nambu look good.

• Smart guns for dumb (libtards) people. Obama should make this "smart gun" a mandatory purchase for all of his genius sycophants, the rest of us are all too stupid to pay attention to and/or even comprehend the smartest man in the room, so we're probably going to buy the stupid guns that will only "pair" with us when we pull them out of their holsters and pull their triggers the old fashioned way.

• Apparently the Obamacare website designers have diversified into smart-weapon software design.

• Anything with "smart" in the title is effing worthless. Smart Cars, Smart Guns, whatever, "smart" anything usually sucks.

• I have a better idea, rather then wait 12 seconds for the gun to establish communication with the watch, I pump 12 rounds out on my way to emptying the magazine.

  • Should be able to get out two magazines in 12 seconds. That's a really long time, just ask the home invader that's laughing at the guy waiting for his gun to authorize.

• Grrrr. I don't even own a weapon here (yet), even tho I'm divorced and the girls are out of the house and married now. But believe me, this is not on my short list. I'm thinking for me, knowing my luck... for me it's pray & spray

    • not the point, I was talking home security. They kick my door in all I have to do is cover the hallway or doorway. I don't & won't trust myself with a pistol until somebody I trust shows me exactly how to use it. I've never shot one. With this I know I won't miss and there will be zero collateral damage. Just me.

      • Go to Wal Mart and look at the Stevens version of this (Savage/Stevens), it has the shoulder stock and pistol grip, and only costs about $200.

        • Just looked it up online, and not available, check the store or other places near you, it's the Stevens Model 320 Security Shotgun.

• FTA:
  The Armatix pistol initially required a full 20 minutes to pair with the watch, even with the aid of an IT pro trained in its use. Without pairing, the Armatix functions like any other handgun, capable of being fired by anyone.

  So..........why pair it?

  • At that price, the question is, why BUY it?

• You'd think a smart gun would detect the threat and shoot it all by itself while you sleep.

• No thanks, I'll keep my plain old stupid guns. They are so dumb I have to help them fire but that's ok, I have been doing it for a long time.

• One of the major reasons to own a gun (or several!) is for that time when all of this lovely computer tech gets knocked out.

  If your guns are as unusable as your computer, your car, your phone... what's the f-ing point?
