  • I'm confused. In the example of the original post, my question was, you can only home school if you have religious reasons for not wanting your kids to go to government schools? You can't do it just because the government schools are evil?

    On the Canada post above, your only choices are government schools and Catholic? What if you believe both of them to be evil?

• Don't be surprised if these Nazi tools don't try again, I read that they are going to "vote" on another version of this asinine law. And of course the ACLU is nowhere to be found.

• Take notice that many parents packed the board meeting in support of the parents. The local nazis felt it better to retreat than to face the wrath of the whole community. Not so silent is partially right. It's about the money and bowing down to the NEA.

• I think the school districts should justify their failure to properly educate our children.

    • Know what you mean. Occasionally the neighbor dude here listens to it too, whether he wants to or not... and he ain't exactly close either :P

• The school did this for one reason, money. Schools are funded on a "per-pupil" basis. Every day that a student attends the state and the feds pay a set amount. When you home school the school district does not get that money, same for charter schools which is why so many school districts are butthurt about charter schools and do everything they can to make them fail. They also attack private schools as often as they can. You can not afford an Assistant Superintendent of Stool Samples and garbage cans when they students are not there...Most of the money nowadays goes for administrators. not students so these cretins are doing nothing by this other than protecting their buddies and their wallets..
