I'll take it a step further, if you came here illegally, you are more important then those who are serving & fighting in our military. Cutting agreed upon services & trying to reward the act of coming here in an illegal manner, offering all sorts of goodies, & trying to make them legal through amnesty. I'd like to see them show some real balls and pull out of Cal. entirely. The headlines are a bit misleading, they only intend to stop sales of semi-auto handguns, which are the only firearms affected by the microstamping law.
The California Highway Patrol and several other agencies all use the Smith and Wesson 4006 semi-auto...No Smith, No Ruger, wonder who is next? The Sig P226 is the most used among law enforcement agencies, followed by Glock, if they quit...we will all be using rubber band guns since this stupid f*cking state banned lead ammo...And of course the only people with these guns in the future will be criminals aka democrat voters...
My first high-end pistol purchase was a stainless P226 on recommendation of Sac. County Rangemaster. Very good weapon. Never had 1 malfunction with it in the 5+ years I've had it. It's too big for my hand, though. I bought a Kimber 1911 that I love. Very accurate and just "feels" right.
I carry a sig 226 at work, sig 229 off duty, plus a 1911 just in case....You can never have too many handguns when the sh*t hits the fan.

I got a 357 but it's got a 6 inch barrel...toooo long for the ankle holster..:)
The one thing I don't have right now is a good revolver. My favorite is a 6'' Python but they're big $$. Rugers are built like tanks, and the Smith 686/687 are nice. Oh! I know! .357 Desert Eagle. Wait, that's not a revolver.
