SNL died years ago, they just forgot to bury it.
I about quit watching it when Belushi left.
The Eddie Murphy era was very good as well. But after that...not so much.
The actors, writers, directors and producers all got a call from the job czar Immlet. The Immlet that is CEO of GE. The parent company of NBC. The Immlet that tells small businesses people to hire more Americans, while he ships jobs to China.
There's no conflict here at all. Keep moving commeades and follow the line straight in front of you. Don't worry it will be in your best interest.

There is a big difference between the reasonable humor they used successfully for years and the current arrogant mocking that only appeals to liberals.
The Fox News skit stunk. You could tell it was written by a typical liberal who doesn't watch Fox, it was so filled with cliches. The Obama skit was cut because it's only six months until the election and the liberal comedians are laying off Obama now, not that they've ever mocked him that much.
They will use the "Equal Time" law as their excuse.

Wow, color me stunned! A liberal show, staffed with liberal writers and liberal actors, airing on a liberal network in an election year, decided not to air a skit poking fun at Barack Obama.

Doesn't look like it was very funny anyway, but that's been true of SNL since about 1985.
