• I am so not into AGW it's not even funny. I've been watching the world get warm and cold for sixty plus years and the predictions made when I was a kid were about the coming ice age and wouldn't you know it, those self same prognosticators were claiming the world was getting warmer as a result of man's interference with Mother Nature, not twenty years later...they were liars then and they're liars now...it's all about who feeds them the best peanuts.

          Then you find at least four pretty ladies that you can practice with, and put pictures from those shoots on ModelMayhem.com. http://www.modelmayhem.com/2251934

          From there, you send out offers, and models will contact you, you shoot them for free to get more experience, and off you go.

        • Yes, of course! I'm what's known as a strobist. Off camera flash. Not studio strobes, those aren't portable enough for me. Everything I own fits in three bags, which I can carry for long hikes if there's a location worth the effort.

          All lighting is battery operated, fired either optically or by radio control by the camera. Except for when I decide to light my subject with LED flashlights. Either way, I specialize in photography in the dark.
