He pissed off someone at some point or he posed a threat... if he did that is reprehensible but so is Rangel and a slew of other people... if he didn't I don't understand why thing weren't handled better... this is all such crap.

We don't have a story, but we do have a 'narrative'(Republicans are all racists) which is far more important. The bumbling GOP Congressional 'leadership' should be kicked out anyway for allowing the Porgressives to seize the issue.
Good grief, what a mess. Amateurism from Republicans at every point. So he admitted to something other people are now saying he didn't do? Why did he admit to it then? If the local sheriff and Red Cross spoke too, why aren't they in trouble? How do you give a speech without knowing who spoke before you and after you? And if you know the speaker before you was the Red Cross or the sheriff, how could you possibly not remember that and mention it when confronted about speaking. "Well, yeah, I spoke to some people but so did the sheriff and the Red Cross."
Sheesh. This is all about frittering away the momentum of the 2014 election landslide and it seems like Republicans are willing victims.
