Socialized healthcare = end of individual liberty. In the UK, if you want a hip replacement, knee replacement, cataract surgery, in vitro fertilisation, or certain other procedures, you must first get your lifestyle approved by government bureaucrats. No potential problems lurking in that policy.

I know it, and it's coming to an America near you. It's also coinciding with a whole bunch of Rights being taken away in the name of "National Security." I really wonder sometimes if we will see the end of freedom as we know it, since I don't think the American people have the desire to stop it.

This is the kind of shit that happens when people depend on the government for anything. The government feels it has the right to dicate how they live their lives, in exchange for whatever it is giving them. The solution is small government and people taking responsibilty for their own needs.
