I hope you all will pardon my French, but F**k you Bin Laden, f**k you al queda, and f**k you taliban. You thought you would hurt us on that awful day, and you did. You though you would scare us and you did, but what you forgot is that we are a people who will stand together under adversity and will never buckle to your sickening ways. We've taken out a lot of you, and maybe some of you will get away with your crimes in this life, but the final equalizer is God and you are going to be f**ked when you are made to answer for what you did. No 72 virgins, but a lot of heat and pain. May you never find the peace your victims have found in heaven.
The war isn´t against terror or even Al-Quaida, it is against against one of the most heinous cult of the history of the human specie, a sect that want to see every human either converted or completely subservient to it.
Not to be a gloomy Gus but we attended that game today. We looked at each other and said at the same time "he's stretching it out waiting for the flyover cue."
No flyover.
We go to Bear home games and they have had flyovers at each home game for years. Not today.
Illinois is broke. Their air guard (we live in Indiana) must not have had the budget to fuel a jet or two for this special occasion. Sad: (
But that guy really did belt out a great tune : )
Ya'll ever think that maybe the state is broke because of the fools they keep electing to public office? They already have two governors in jail so when are the good people in Illinois going to get the clue?
By the way, didn't the majority of voters in Illinois support the Obummer? You got what you asked for and now the rest of the country has to suffer with you.

Jim Cornelison has been performing the national anthem at Chicago Blackhawks games for a few years. Here he is in 2009 doing both the US & Canadian anthems...
...he may be the best at doing the anthem. BTW, I would like to change our national anthem to "God Bless America". Just a personal thought, & here it is by Ronan Tynan. Go to 3 minutes in & play...

this seriously gave me chills. amazing. i sang this song for the high school graduation at my school last year, and i could never have caused this kind of reaction.

Every time I hear a rendition of this that honors the meaning I choke up. I watched this when it was being broadcast and nearly wailed. Writing now the misty cannot be avoided.
