Solyndra received more “stimulus” money than 35 states received for highways, roads and bridges. Yeah, but Solyndra has certainly proved itself to be “shovel ready.” Besides, how much did those 35 states contribute to Obama’s campaign, hmmm?

Since Obama has no chance of carrying Kentucky next year I don't think he's going to do anything to help Louisville get the one or two new bridges it needs. But the bigger obstacle is that Senator McConnell is from Louisville.
He probably thinks he can get the world's largest tube of KY there. That is his real reason for visiting. Larry and Rahm want to party.

...the more I see, the more I wonder.
The section of Louisville I live in, St.Matthews, was going to accept a 627,000 dollar stimulus grant in November 2009 to extend some sidewalks. But the St.Matthews mayor turned it down and paid for it with local money saying: "The information about the stimulus funding was nearly 200 pages long, and meeting deadlines to receive the money to construct the sidewalks also was too complicated". I bet you it will be discovered that Solyndra didn't have a bunch of government red tape to jump through to receive funding.

So shovel ready jobs (HAHAHA) got a total of less than $15 billion in the porkulus. Lets say that the other 15 (or 23 states if you are the world's smartest president) got double that for a total of $45 billion. Where did the other $825 billion go?
We do not have a revenue problem we have an out of control graft laden corrupt democrat spending problem.
