Blogger writing about a Victor Davis Hanson interview sums up our problem perfectly: “This election isn’t a battle between the haves and have-nots, as the Democrats want to paint it. It’s a battle between the responsible and the irresponsible; the realistic and the unrealistic; the self-reliant and the dependent. Frankly, it’s a battle between an adult’s view of the world and a child’s. And the adults are precariously close to losing.”

It's the ant and the grasshopper.
Just once before I die I'd like to hear a politician at an offical event STOP using stupid sentimental phrases like "families are hurting" and instead come right out and say "there are people in this world who simply CANNOT get their shit together."
Maybe if we admit that this is the problem, we can start finding a solution to it.
I might also add that it's about the informed and the ignorant. It's no mistake that our public school system "graduates" indoctrinated morons. In fact, it's by design.
