It may not be a terrorist thing, however SOMEONE SOMEWHERE made a mistake or a series of mistakes and it could be more than one person as well. Someone did not do something or failed to do something that they should have done. Someone got paid or someone got a gift for looking the other way . Essentially SOMETHING did happen that caused this, there was no reason for this to happen in this day and age if everyone is doing what they are supposed to do.
Due to the location, I'm having trouble thinking this was terror related. I'd lean more to some kind of equipment failure, some idiot lit a cigarette or something accidental.

No, just a resident observing the fire at the plant. Incidentally, both Dad and child are at least physically OK. Think the daughter might need some extra help for post traumatic issues.

Or just a shitload of Ammmonium Nitrate that exploded when exposed to fire. Everyone is blaming the plant, the people, the lack of regulation of Texas fertilizer plants. THe bottom line is ammonia is a dangerous chemical. When its various chemical combinations are exposed to heat, they become unstable and explode. Unless the inspection could have stopped the fire, nothing could have been done. And there is still no cause of the initial fire. There were thunderstorms in the area, and some have posited that lightening started the fire, which ignited the explosion.
Again the reporting is even more suspicious. The local news characterized the as yet to be tallied fatality count as "dozens" which back when I went to skewl represented multiple groups of twelve and while sequestration may have redefined a dozen as five or something along those lines I see yet another bit of proof that mainstream "news" sources are not to be heeded.
...and how about allowing numbers to be solidified and people to at least begin the process of healing before trying to make political hay from it? I know that any explosion in Texas is automatically instigated by a white, right ring gun and bible clinging extremist offering a tasty bit to the rhetorical demagogue diet of the sitting Treasodent as well as his obedient, leg tingling blue blooded merkin talking heads who instinctively thrust their pelvises every time Treasodent Obama reads from his teleprompter but until the word "decency" gets removed from the dictionary because of its elitist and racist connotations how about exercising some measure of it?

Our prayers go out to all the citizens of the great city of West, TX. A tragedy of this magnitude can shake a city to it's core. I know I'm speaking for all America when I say we are here for you and support you in your time of need. May God Bless you all and protect you through this horrifying tragedy.
