So today they arrested two (black) male friends of his who are his exercise buddies, one of them had some bleach. Hmmmm Then the story is he did this to himself because he was going to be written out of his TV show...What a piece of crap. Glad I NEVER watched his show.
The word I'm reading is, Smollett, instead of giving the cops his phone, gave them a spreadsheet of his calls. What the idiot didn't realize was by then the cops had already subpoenaed his calls... so they looked at the spreadsheet and took note of the calls he had deleted. Duh. It was like he did the work for them. Among the calls he deleted were some to those two guys shown walking away from the area... who turned out to be two NIGERIAN men who Smollett knows from the TV show, one of them being someone he was dating and recently dumped, and who is understandably pissed about being dumped. So what we probably have is a 2 am rendezvous between gay lovers that may have gone bad, not a racist homophobic attack by MAGA-hat wearing Republicans.
