Ok, they are saying that they may close the space station temporarily. Well the last shuttle mission left a guy up ther (or maybe a couple of guys) and a boatload of supplies. So if all the vessels for evacuation are grounded, how are THEY getting home? Parachute? "oh, honey, look, TWO shooting stars"
More proof that everything our Dear Leader touches turns to organic waste matter. But look at the bright side, the Islamic outreach program is working wonders for NASA.
Maybe we can sell it to the Chinese, or let them repo it.
Honestly, it's not fair to blame this on Obama. It's certainly apropos that the shuttle program would come to it's final demise under his tutelage, but the decline of our space program should be blamed on all of our leaders, past and present. It's sad and disgusting. Nearly all of them have turned inward. Nearly all of them lack the vision to see the greatness of a nation that still explores.
First thing I thought when I heard this story... "Thanks Mr. Pres" a mere two weeks after the space shuttle program is canked, too!
Yep, can't wait for more talk of "Sputnik moments" from the guy that killed NASA.
