Sponge Bob is killing your kid’s attention span! Or at least that is what we took away from the headline. We couldn’t bring ourselves to stay focused long enough to actually read the story. But it is a yellow bird -and not the sponge- that should be blamed for that.

Ok – so we take 60 kids – not a random sampling, mind you, not a diverse group and two years younger than the target audience – plant them in front of televisions randomly with two entirely different programs (one designed to teach and one designed to entertain) and then give them mental function tests. By the way, do not test the kids prior to this test – what the hell would you need a base-line for anyway? Then publish the results…..
