He should have never been allowed. It would be like Dana Perino (who has never hidden her bias) moderating the Democratic Debates.
All in all, journalists and hard news anchors (not opinion) should moderate and even then those that are REGISTERED independents, have NO history with any of the candidates whatsoever, has no factual or provable statements of bias for or against one party and have not donated to any candidate nor party in their lives.
Short list if there is a list but that is what it should be about. Also all of them that do qualify should come from all stations and newspapers that have HARD NEWS on politics (no one of them that does opinion, and no editors), it should be one to three for each one, and all should enter a truly random lottery that is moderated and observed by respectable (lol) members of both political parties and an independent person.
I am not sure why something like that hasn't been implemented because it seems to me they just go with whomever. No one has explained to me how they choose these people.
