What should a politician do when he can’t answer a question? Not this. Definitely not this.

Embarrassing. Turns out Democrat Steve Shannon, who’s running for Virginia Attorney General, doesn’t really know anything about the office for which he’s running.

Quick. Answer a question that wasn’t asked. Any question. Obfuscate. Dither. Change the subject. Even when the audience realizes exactly what you’re doing.

Then, just to make an uncomfortable situation even worse, have your staff harass pesky reporters who attempt to follow up on his answer. Or non-answer, as the case may be.

Vote for Steve. He’s the guy who doesn’t know anything about the office he’s running for.

  • Typical Dumbocrat. They just can't help themselves. Maybe he's been taking notes from Kristen Powers?

  • Hey, maybe he's Alvin Greene's long-lost half brother and Harry " there's no illegal construction workers in NV" Reid is their daddy.

As the political heat continues to rise the Democrats continue to cook themselves. Keep talking, folks. The more hot air you deliver the hotter things will be for you.

The Democratic 'goose' should be nicely cooked Nov 3, 2010.

As an added thought, I can hear Barry singing now:

    "I'm lonely, oh so lonely,
Got no Party to call my own."

  • He should be elected. Barry was elected wasn't he? From his actions, I would say he doesn't understand why the founding fathers wrote the constitution.

  • Look at that bitch in the red! Smiling as she takes pictures to try to damage his camera.

During elections you should be allowed to punch staffers.

Can I say that? Because the c-word kept coming out of my typing fingers....

  • This guy will probably win and end up in a sex scandel in a couple of years, while trying to look like he "cares about children and his family".
