    • She went "a bit too far?" I think she went way the hell too far and yes, she should be fired, and yes, if they are going to punsish children for even less than this, an adult who should know better should definitely be arrested for a crime. Isn't this making a terrorisic threat as much as a teen posting on social Media?

    There are a couple things in there that really bug me, one

    "The breach at Roosevelt High and two other LA schools has prompted Los Angeles Unified School District officials to halt a $1 billion program..."

    Whose Billion, with a b? And two

    "The district also has banned home use of the iPads until further notice as officials look for ways to make sure students use the devices for school work only."

    Screw you, the hell you think you are? I always knew what my kids grades were and if they want to check their mail during a homework break in my house on my net, you're saying no? And just how stupid are you to think that a) your Mickey Mouse security wouldn't be compromised (I'm surprised it took a week, probably didn't, just took that long for a do-gooder to blab). And b) that millions of teens were going to use the things for nothing but school "approved" activities. Dumba$$es.

    I'd bet you're also the type that sees nothing wrong with snooping to see what "your" device is being used for at 9p.m. on a Saturday night. Can you turn the camera on too without the user being aware? Perverts.

  • I heard on the news that they were suspended for the rest of the term. The principal said it was because it happened NEAR the bus stop. Time for the school to hear from the lawyers.

    • They suspended them for the entire year, unless theior are wafgfling with the negative responses they are receiving.

    • The school owns the area near the bus stop...? does it even own the bus stop? Aren't bus stops just anywhere basically on a street? Please...

  • BTW, this kid was on Fox News this morning and seemed like a very respectable young man. He said he does not believe he did anything wrong. BRAVO! He did not!

    • I saw him answering questions like "Did you take the gun on the bus? Did you ever take it to school?" He answered "no Sir!" to every one.

  • In the UK, Airsoft guns are legal, but regulated as strictly as if they were real guns!

  • The parents need to file suit against the school system for violating their sons right to privacy. How dare they "peep" on a youngster. Their actions put them dangerously close to voyeurism and pedophilia. Let them then defend their actions.

    • It is my understandiong that some ssnoopy bitch neighbor called the cops on the kids, telling that they were "playing with guns" even though she knew the gun was a toy, The cops investigated and said there was nothing wrong going on, and dropped the whole thing. That's when the School Nazis decided they needed to deny these children their rights to an education, their right to privacy, and the right to a fair trial.

Boycotts of school functions. Hecklers at every school event calling for the resignations of the people rsponsible.   • According to the ATF the definition of a "firearm" is: "The term “firearm” is defined in the Gun Control Act of 1968, 18 U.S.C. Section 921(a)(3), to include “(A) any weapon (including a starter gun), which will, or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive;" Air soft guns do NOT "expel a projectile by the action of an explosive" so it is NOT a firearm! Case closed! Stupid lib F&%ks!

      • If the parents REALLY want to get revenge on the Salem-witch-trial jusdges in the "school" system, they will start a home school craze in the area to take pupils out of this sick, twisted asinine-run asylum they are calling a school.

  • This is insane. What country is this? If he did not take the toy gun with him on the bus and to the school it is none of the school's business what he was doing with that toy in his property. It is ridiculous to punish him for doing something he did at home even if he was doing it while waiting for the school bus, that is the parent's lane and responsibility. This is absolutely disgusting.
