I believe in "Man Made" warming to this extent. Cities are hotter than the Countryside in the summer. Chiefly because of all the concrete that radiates the heat rather than absorbing it with plants. Sitting on a clogged freeway at 5PM in July/August is one hell of a lot hotter than being in a residential area.

Considering the fact that 1883 was the year of no summer following the eruption of Krakatoa, It's doubtful that man could create the same effect short of above-ground detonating every thermal-nuclear device at the same time.

Frankly the only carbon footprint I make is when I step into ashes then walk in the snow... and that only happens in the colder months so I guess I'm covered -eh? I know, not exactly scientific but neither is glow-bull warm-mongering, is it?
It's ironic to me that these neo-eco-malthusians seem to be just trading traditional religion for environmentalism with out even being aware of it. Original sin, just a different origin. Instead of burlap sacks and indulgences of the middle ages, they have recycled PET bottle fabric clothes and carbon offset payments.
