When I think of the gubment as a whole, I imagine the fallen snow of winter, white and clean (that's the people) then along comes the congress (that's the neighbor's 130lb St Bernard), he comes on to my lawn, takes a squat and leaves a 4inch high steaming stinking pile of shit.(that's obama). I've know this for a while, the so called "Political Elites" are nothing more then whores, with even less morals then the real thing. As far as most politicians in this country are concerned, I wouldn't piss in their mouths if their teeth were on fire.
Whenever I hear someone say write/call your Senator/Representative my reaction has always been, "You are wasting your time unless you enclose at least $75K-$100K in small bills. Then if you are dumb enough to trust the bastards, you are very gullible.
I wrote to my Senators, Boxer and Feinstein, a number of years ago, and received return letters addressing everything BUT the topic I had written about.
I am in an unusual situation. My congressman actually listens to me. We have a good email relationship and he actually is on the correct side of immigration, 2nd Amendment, and Veterans issues.
Him and Jim Inhofe are the 2 arguments that I have against term limits.
