Subway removes ham and bacon from nearly 200 stores and offers halal meat only after ‘strong demand’ from Muslims. We have a feeling Subway is going to get a backlash from non-Muslims. Even though this appears to be UK only, we’re only eating at Togo’s from now on. Subway can suck it. Bacon sandwich here we come!

Wendy's now have a yummy pulled pork yes pork sandwiches now. Burger King had a pork (riblet or something) sandwich that was good, but they discontinued it, even though it was popular. Someone must have been offended.
HMMM, this makes me upset because we actually enjoy Subway on occasion. What I find funny is that we had Subway for dinner tonight! I personally had the Big Philly Cheesesteak with BACON!!! My main problem with Subway is that they don't have mushrooms.
I know the feeling. I used to eat at subway at least once a week. Now I go to quiznos or a couple of others.
I stopped eating at subway after they teamed up with the mooch.
I don't eat at KFC either, since they already went over to the side of Satan and started the satanic ritual massacre of chickens (halal).
So, when I go back to Bakersfield next winter, and there's a Subway right across the street from the RV Park, I still won't eat there. OK, I can deal with that.
It does bother me that so many business I would like to boycott, I already don't patronize. That takes all the fun out of it.
For health reason I don't eat pork (family history of heart problems) However, these people came here. Now they demand that all of us KISS THEIR DAMN ASSES. Well guess what. Take your child molesting following asses back to the shit hole country that you came from. That way you don't have to see the Pork and bacon in our Subways here in the USA.
I'm not a picky eater and I sometimes visit Subway but my disdain for islam and those that support it can now be projected by my absence from the fast food joint.
I knew their was a reason I never eat at Subway, besides not liking their portion controlled, previously frozen garbage.
There's gonna be some backlash from animal-rights people as well. According to the article, "Traditionally in halal abattoirs the throats of the animals are cut while they are fully conscious - an act many campaigners say is inhumane and needlessly cruel."
i doubt they will complain at all. PETA and their supporters are mostly your typical leftist coward/bullies and will only complain about peole that either will turn the other cheek and not fight back, or are opposing their leftist idealogy and are at the same time 'soft targets - i.e. RINOs. For example, no complaints when BLM killed a bunch of these 'endangered' desert tortises. No complaints when windmills kill birds and bats. But if some Christian as much as stops on a bug, you can bet there will be backlash. Or if someone in the GOP speaks up about EPA overreach there will be extreme whining and backlash. And they know if they challenge the muslims on the least little point there will be consequences.
PETA isn't about animal cruelty, they're a leftist political organization. Therefore, halal isn't a problem.
They DID complain, but to make it look like they're not really ragging on Islam, they said that EVERYONE should just have the veggie sandwich.
