‘Sunday Night Football’ Ratings Down Again On Day Of Player Protests. There’s a lot of unhappy people who don’t feel players who make 10’s of millions should be dissing the flag of the country that made them rich. Us? We watched NASCAR, they don’t hide, sit or kneel when the National Anthem plays.

Five year olds in go-carts are more exciting than a ball game.
They overestimate just how much influence they wield. People don't wake up on Sundays and think "Man, I hope my team has some good protests today", they want to watch a fricking football game.
It's bad enough that the league has become watered down and mediocre, you have to dump this crap on top of the compost pile?
I hope people stop going to games but there are enough mindless idiots out there that will keep the coffers filled. 16 games a week at an average attendance of say, 70,000 per game is around 1.1 million and yes, there are that many idiots in this country.

The protesters forgot Galatians 6:7: "...whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." They wanted to draw attention to themselves for a different reason than football... well, guess what, it worked.
Apparently a lot of NFL players were taking a knee during economics class.
The NFL/Roger Goodall don't get it. Take a knee, loose your audience. So when all the games begin to look like the last 49's game with 14 dollar tickets, I wonder if the owners will start bitching about having to cut back? Maybe time to end the anti-trust exemption and let these billionaires pay taxes like us common folks.
