  • Proves we NEVER needed Healthcare reform...what we need is TORT reform, but look who runs the gov't, a bunch of lawyers, so it will never happen.

  • My wife got a subsidy for her Obunglescare premiums. When I hit my little lottery win ($65,000), it made it so that we had to pay back all of the subsidies. Then, if she were to buy insurance again this year, she wouldn't be eligible for any subsidy, because they use 2014 tax returns to determine your eligibility for 2015 subsidies. I told her that paying the penalty would be much cheaper, and she finally agreed with me.

    • The whole thing is stupid. My daughter works a full time job and only makes about $17k annually. But she isn't eligible for assistance, so she has to pay the full amount for insurance that she literally will never use. Her plan has a $1500 deductible before it covers anything, and she rarely goes to'm the doctor. My other daughter and grandchild have been quoted premiums in excess of $500 monthly, again with a huge deductible before anything is covered. This has not increased the overall number of insured in the country, only who is insured

      • The wife & I pay $500/month for a $5,000 deductible plan. We're covered in case either of us gets pregnant (with a vasectomy and hysterectomy in the mix, *that'd* be a trick.), and random lesbians we've never met no longer have to pay the totally unaffordable $10/month cost of birth control.

If this is "Affordable", I want no part of it.

  • Well now all you free healthcare criers are you going to help pay this surprise to the lowest earners? What all these belly achers are going to bitch and moan that the rest of us must pickup the tab for this screwing. I for one have an answer. KMA all you dim wits. It's time to face the facts. Barrycare is a cluster, but all the dim wits knew this and they are hoping to roll this cluster into a single payer system.

Thank you Chief Justice Roberts. You have another chance to get this massive mess right by striking down the reimbursement.

    • The wholeidea is to force a government based single payer system. This is . Just . One step. After Obamacare, government insurance will look just peachy.

  • Unfortunately theses same dumbasses will blindly follow the Commucrats if Oprah or some other "celebrity" says too. Broke and stupid will always be broke and stupid.

  • Never in the history of man has so many been so screwed by so few.

To continue to implement the obviously corrupt, destruction-bound obamacare is all the proof one needs to know that the sole purpose is the immense control over the people by the government.

They will tax you for everything you eat, drink or smoke that they deem unhealthy.

    • The great fire of Rome breaks out and destroys much of the city on this day in the year 64. Despite the well-known stories, there is no evidence that the Roman emperor, Nero, either started the fire or played the fiddle while it burned. Still, he did use the disaster to further his political agenda.

The fire began in the slums of a district south of the legendary Palatine Hill. The area's homes burned very quickly and the fire spread north, fueled by high winds. During the chaos of the fire, there were reports of heavy looting. The fire ended up raging out of control for nearly three days. Three of Rome's 14 districts were completely wiped out; only four were untouched by the tremendous conflagration. Hundreds of people died in the fire and many thousands were left homeless.

Although popular legend holds that Emperor Nero fiddled while the city burned, this account is wrong on several accounts. First, the fiddle did not even exist at the time. Instead, Nero was well known for his talent on the lyre; he often composed his own music. More importantly, Nero was actually 35 miles away in Antium when the fire broke out. In fact, he let his palace be used as a shelter.

Legend has long blamed Nero for a couple of reasons. Nero did not like the aesthetics of the city and used the devastation of the fire in order to change much of it and institute new building codes throughout the city. Nero also used the fire to clamp down on the growing influence of Christians in Rome. He arrested, tortured and executed hundreds of Christians on the pretext that they had something to do with the fire.
