Taxpayer-funded “white privilege” conference is jam-packed with crazy. “To recap, everything and everyone is racist except, of course, this conference’s race-obsessed speakers and attendees.” Well, if someone misses a session because they misplaced their meds or something, is heshe a racist on the day they’re absent? Just wondering.

I hate progressives.
It will burn you up. Just pity them. Somewhere and educator or a parent really did them wrong and they ended up that way. Only thru engagement and repeated logical instruction will they figure out that they are complete sh!t heads.
They think that they are smart because they are educated and thoughtful when they learned gobble-gook in their "fill-in-the-blank"-studies classes and live their very self-centered lives. When they talk I just find the most glaring factual or logic error in their meme (God I hate the word 'meme', but they seem to love it). Just slightly shake your head and if they engage you just drop some knowledge and logic on them. They'll try to dismiss it by pointing out a conservative fringe position, bring them back to their own ignorance. If they try to move to another fact or position, make them admit that their first point was wrong and if that is wrong why should we believe their fact#2. If it is a logic error, their their argument is false and proving point #2 doesn't make up for the leap of stupidity any more right.
It's like arguing with a 8 year old. Be gentle, ask a lot of questions to expand their errors to show how they are wrong- and promise them a cookie when it is all over. Just tell them there is pot in it and they'll listen intently.
The problem is, when they've reached this stage in life without ever being challenged on their idiocy, it's too late. They'll NEVER learn. I try not to let it eat me up, but I don't suffer fools gladly.
At some point don't we run out of crazy people?

Just an aside. I sent [redacted] an Email a couple hours ago apologizing if I woke her while checking her privilege, I was just following PCpolice orders. Still awaiting a reply but I'm sure I'll be in this corner for a couple more days. At least.

Always funny to watch these nuts out in public. They're always so intent on finding racism and classism and sexism and every other ism that they never notice their own. I swear that they get off on whining and these get togethers turn into the equivalent of a bunch of teens in a locker room debating who's penis is bigger. Except instead of kids comparing genital sizes you've got a bunch of dicks trying to show how oppressed they are to prove that they deserve the most sympathy.
In the video interview, the one lady is very crafty in her responses. She admits that everyone has prejudices, but racism is not just prejudice- it is the power to enforce your own will.
That's how they can admit to being prejudiced (to not admit it would be truly looney), but since they don't have the institutional power, they can't be guilty of racism.
Sprouting out of this is the big idea of 'micro-agression' that all of us white folk are guilty of even if we don't know it.
It's all about controlling the language.

Someone should have told me about this white privilege. I paid my way thru school for my undergrad and grad degrees and I travel all the time for work. You mean I could have just played the 'white card'?
