I used to think that about Kansas, too, but a couple of years ago, we took my youngest stepson to Denver, CO, to go to college. We usually go to CO (from TX) by way of NM, but this time we drove up through OK and KS. I was amazed by how pretty and green Western KS is...and how non-flat. Lots of gently rolling hills.
And as a lifelong Texan, Kansas weather in August was tremendously appealing to me: something like 85 degrees at one pm! It would have been 20 degrees hotter at home.
Relevant to the story? Can't believe a cheerleading coach would be a pervert, oh no.../sarc
I didn't know muff-diving was a crime. If it is, then I'm a habitual offender and I deserve a lifetime of duff-diving counseling.
That headline is misleading. See, I thought it was a teacher and also a cheerleading coach (two separate people) who somehow involved three other students in a sexual romp then one of the five drove the other four off the "cliff" (by the way, in Kansas, anything over a 6" curb may well qualify as a "cliff"). And when you find out they students were of legal consenting age (at least in Kansas), one starts to wonder "huh?" So if she had been a neighbor (or one of their congresswomen), she could yanky their wankys all day and no one would say "boo." But because she's a teacher, it's verbotten.

She should fight that law all the way to the supreme court. We can't be deciding who it's okay and not okay to have consensual sex with. If the law says you are an adult at 18, then you are. The only recourse in this case should be that the school has the right to fire her. Oh wait, it's impossible to fire a teacher.
Damn! Where were these kind of teachers when I was in school? All of the teachers we had in high school were old, with gray hair, and had kids older than we were. Definately not "boning" material at the time.

I think that there must be a universal truth that when a person calls out another's spelling or grammatical error on a discussion thread, they invariably have their own grammar and spelling problems.
