Teenager whose fart joke caused ELEVEN agencies to lockdown his school in bomb scare. The teacher moron who reported this is another stellar example of what’s wrong with the education system in the US. We suggest you don’t tell fart jokes at PTA meetings or airports unless you have a fetish for Big Sis to give you the rubber hose treatment at GITMO.

It must be terrible to not know the difference between dropping a bomb and planting a bomb . To realize these people actually vote as they're told to and actually teach what they are told to teach is scarier than the threat . And then we wonder why Johnny and Jane are so stupid . Its starts with the parents and the teachers finish them off .
From the garbage can , they dish out garbage to be taught . Since its garbage that is learned , potato brains is the result .
What's even sadder to me , is how the realization of how much the parents love their children , to let someone teach them for 18 + and have them as dumb as an animal . Wait a minute , maybe that was actually the intent .
Great, now we have toilet paper police.....Someone, somewhere is a moron for letting this get out of hand. A good investigator could have figured this out in a few minutes, instead of another member of the NEA running around like Chicken Little.....just to play devils advocate, I wonder if this teacher ever has gas?
Scatalogical humor.. you have to choose your words carefully, especially these days.. might have been better if he'd said something like "beefing one off" or whatever.. but to use the b word in any context these days can bring out the crazies. Suspend him, fer cryin' out loud. Maybe even kick him out for good. He can always get his GED down the road. But arresting him? That's over the top.
We are constantly be lectured that we should be tolerant, making great efforts to negotiate and understand our enemies, not just react to them negatively. But then you have these kind of over the top reactions to a punk's prank. It flies in the face of "understanding our enemies." This kind of crap happens because the people in charge are cowards! Stand up to kids like this. Give them a dope slap and make them realize that it's time to grow up. Don't throw the entire legal system at them, wasting untold amounts of time and money.
Brings to mind a story from way back of the guy who saw an acquaintance on a plane and said, "Hi, Jack!", and all hell broke loose. The fact I can't remember if it's a joke or true makes it even funnier.

Does anyone else find it a bit humorous that a 19 year old in High School would be a straight "A" student?? 19??? I would hope he might be making some As - don't ya think he's had enough practice??? This story is funny for sure.
He may have started school late as my son did. My son is autistic and could not communicate when he was younger. I kept him in pre-school longer so he could have time to learn enough language to communicate better. He then learned 5 years worth of language in 18 months. My son will be 19 when he finishes H.S. And yes he is a straight "A" student.
My daughter's birthday is in November, so she turned 19 during her senior year (kids with birthdays after Sept 30 have to wait until the next year to enroll.) So it is certainly not out of the realm of possibility that he could be 19, still in school, adn still be a good student.

Only he can say for sure, but I don't know that I would agree with your hypothesis. His very first guess was Dr Babs. I then questioned the "babs" part and that was when he said he was trying to guess my name (but he said it in a funny way) then he figured out that if he wanted to guess my name he might want to start with names that begin with "D". Anyway I think he knew for quite some time that people called me "Doc" just cuz of my initials. Happens quite a bit actually, even some of the Docs' I work with call me "Doc".
I'm guessing, but a lot of people called you Doc for a long time, and I remember later you saying it was just your initials and didn't mean anything. From what little I know about RW that probably sounded an awful lot like a dare, Rapunzel. ;)
