Tennessee judge denies straight couple divorce, citing gay marriage ruling. The judge may be on to something here. But, common sense will never prevail.
“With the US Supreme Court having defined what must be recognized as a marriage, it would appear that Tennessee’s judiciary must now await the decision of the US Supreme Court as to what is not a marriage, or better stated, when a marriage is no longer a marriage. The conclusion reached by this Court is that Tennesseans have been deemed by the US Supreme Court to be incompetent to define and address such keystone/central institutions such as marriage, and, thereby, at minimum, contested divorces,” Atherton wrote.

To me the freedom to choose who and whether to marry completely depicts the freedom level in the country or a state in particular. For example in California it is possible to get a divorce without a lawyer ( whether coming to a court or filling out California divorce papers online) so it looks like an opportunity to get your relationship legally recognized (whether dissolving or starting the marriage).
Guys John Roberts did not support gay marriage, it's Kennedy who did. Roberts did us us Obamacare for good though. This situation in Kentucky is so easily rectified but there is a Libyard Governor. BTW, Kentucky judge was highly recommended by MCConnell to Bush.

John Roberts was rushed to a D.C. Hospital to have the sharp stick removed from his eye after it was inserted by a Tennessee judge. This is some funny stuff. Not everyone is going to roll over and take it up the arse when the supreme court is feeling frisky.
