What tensions, the lack of gas or matches?
NY Times' article on this (mosque arson in Sweden and anti-immigration sentiment - as they call it) has no open comment forum for its readership. So much for wanting the opinions of its readership. The Times does this with many "sensitive" articles.

Just a guess, but I bet Swedish people are not doing this. Here in the U.S., every single mosque fire that ever happened turned out to be Muslims burning their own mosque for insurance purposes. They do it with their businesses, too, then they squawk about hate crimes and try to collect on the insurance. Like this guy, or this guy, or this guy.
Damn, those in the hills of KY tend to do the same thing. Get behind on the payments and poof. There is a fire of strange origin and all is cured. There are some sir names in Eastern Kentucky that no insurance agent will issue a policy to.
I believe it's highly possible that the Swedish people are doing this. Just because your political leadership is a bunch of pussies, doesn't mean the people are. This country is a prime example.
I thought they didn't believe in insurance.

I had a wonderful dream recently where all the mosques were reduced to a heap of ash and all turbans were set ablaze.
Muslims don't wear turbans. The turban is standard garb for a Sikh. The Sikhs fought on the side of the good guys in WWII, and did a fine job of it. There's a number of cases where people have seen a Sikh wearing their turban, thought they were Muslim, and attacked them.
