• The Demotard fools don't even believe that gun control is for the safety of the people, they KNOW that as long as the people have guns, the leftards won't be able to take over and turn this into another People's Paradise like Venezuela.

• all you have to do is look at chi-crapistan [formerly chicago] to see how well gun control works--yet the fool that runs the city still favors failed policies

• Yesterday a man in Albuquerque heard someone in his driveway, 3 thugs were trying to break into his truck. When he confronted them one of the goons pulled a pistol so the property owner pulled his own gun and shot him. His buddies somehow got him out of there and took off, they dumped him outside a hospital where he died this morning. The cops are still hunting for the other two.

  I want some liberal gun control fool to tell me again that responsible gun ownership does not save lives or help someone to protect their property. An armed citizenry is a safe citizenry and not all our enemies are run of the mill street thugs.

  • I guess they would say that he should have just gone back to bed and allowed them to take his stuff... because after all money grows on trees and he can buy whatever they stole back without a problem. Now... let's say they decide that another homeowner must have nicer and better things in the house than in his car or truck... and then let's say they decide that another homeowner has a good looking wife or daughter and they bet they are upstairs where they can get to them... Progressives can't admit that you need to nip the problem in the bud, because criminal behavior ONLY escalates when it is left unchecked and unpunished.

    It it perhaps for the best the thug died that way the man doesn't have to deal with lawsuits or anything like that, but certainly he must feel bad that he had to do that, but he had to do what he had to do. I bet you anything that community is going to be FAR more safer for at least a few years (if not more) until another thug comes along and he also gets blasted.

• Charts and numbers that do not cooperate with the progressive agenda are ignored... let's be truthful, people that hurt others unnecessarily are cowards, if you minimize the amount of time they have to hurt others (by rapid police response or else by potential victims committing to self defense) they realize that they can't do what they are committed to do and so they either commit suicide or lamely engage you (ignoring helpless potential victims) hoping to be killed, so they won't get caught.

  People ARE more polite and less brave when they know that their asses can be kicked real hard and/or killed. It is the nature of the human.

• It would be even lower if not for *and* if you counted illegal aliens because I wouldn't be surprised if a large number of homicides can be attributed to illegals but conversely, if you included the millions of them that are here, it would drop the per 100K number.

• The most dangerous weapon against this administration is truth.
