Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

A very good speech. I miss the 'Gipper' and I miss the country I grew up in. It's way past the time for being nice to these retched loafers who've hijacked our government, but we share some of the blame of helping to put them there. Right now it seems almost impossible to root these 'ticks' out, but with God's help, prayer and faith in the "Most High" and in the form of government our founders did leave to us and with the help of a little Pb, we may be able to regain our nation and our sanity.

As for those from the greatest generation. Thank you for the sacrifices you made. When I make it to DC, I always make one stop each and every time, Arlington Cemetery. It should be a mandatory field trip for every child east of the Mississippi. Walk the paths in the back portion of it, you will find the resting place of many men and women who answered the call from a nation who needed them. If you are able to walk thru those hallow grounds and not have a tear in your eye, you have no heart and no soul. For there lies the reason we are free from the worlds past evils.

Man I miss Reagan....and I miss a lot of the vet's I met who have since passed away...I bet the one still with us wonder just what the hell they fought for when they see the wanna be nazi administration we have in D.C.
