The Clattering Train

The Clattering Train. “The status quo is facing an extinction event and they are beginning to realize it.” Obama channels Louis XV: “After me, the deluge.”

  • Just as many " Real " American citizens will never relinquish the Rights granted by our Creator as written in the Bill Of Rights , there are many that will do everything and anything , to destroy this country , if that what it takes , to make sure this " Holy Grail " of Government Controlled Healthcare , is never rescinded .

This outranks , even their " right " to murder their own children . Just like the Incas and other barbaric cultures that sacrificed their children to appease their god , so will these modern believers in the False god , sacrifice everything and anything , but mostly their reason and dignity , to make sure their god survives . Death comes so easy , to those that stand in their way .

The Constitution , unloved babies , Traditional Judeo- Christian belief and values , etc , etc , etc , all deserve to be exterminated , so that their False Belief can live .

The Top 10 Reasons Why Mitch McConnell is Like a Potato
Posted by Morry Markovitz on November 17, 2013 at 12:30am

I have often thought, when I've seen pictures of Sen. Mitch McConnell or watched him on TV, that he reminds me of a toy I once had as a child, called "Mr Potato-Head." Not only does Sen. McConnell's head seem shaped like a potato, but his often shiny yet ever-pasty complexion looks rather like the surface of a boiled potato that's been lying around unrefrigerated for a few days.
Recently, I was reminded of an old expression I once heard: "Eventually, everyone gets the face he deserves." A short while later, I made the connection: If Mitch McConnell looks like Mr. Potato-Head, and if he has the face he deserves, then he must also be much like a potato in ways other than mere appearance.

The further results of this discovery, I offer below:

THE TOP 10 REASONS WHY SEN. MITCH McCONNELL IS LIKE A POTATO

10 He is not particularly liked by dogs.

9 He has a very thin skin.

8 He has some starch. (Boy, does he!)

7 He has at times been closely associated with pork.

    6 He has no spine.

5 Like a potato which can be boiled, broiled, roasted, fried, baked, sauteed, souffleed or become a salad, he can take different forms to please whomever is present.

4 He mixes well with other vegetables

3 He gives no sign of having read the US Constitution

    2 He spoils with age.

1 Potatoes don't keep campaign promises either.

  • Just sitting back watching Quagmire's approval ratings drop faster then Reggie Love's pants.

    • True but his approval is amazingly high. Yes Commie/Democraps will always have the approval of "take from them and give to me" losers, the filthy rich who can afford to buy special treatment, and their fellow communists that make up 98% of the media. It is the rest of the utter nitwits that defy description of their gullibility and stupidity that stuns me. His approval should be less than 20%. I cant figure out how many times these fools need to get it rammed up their ass to catch on to the scam.

  • "Obama channels Louis XV"

Some scholars believe Louis XV's decisions damaged the power of France, weakened the treasury, discredited the absolute monarchy, and may have contributed to the French Revolution

Channels? He seems to be bound and determined to turn us into 18th century France, but only if he can't succeed in turning us into 1950's USSR. Although, he probably would be happiest if he could accomplish a combination of both.

  • That "clattering train" sound you hear is the sound of Obama shaking his head "no" to the thought of ending this debacle named for him.

  • Oh where to begin... we have yet another article that has an opportunity to be spot on but the author, Fernandez blows the chance by basing the piece on the premise that Obama's objective was not to destroy the health care system. So much of what is written about specific policies of this administration insists on chronicling them within the vacuum that fails to acknowledge the intent reflected by what this administration has done and how that all is belied by what has been said. He was absolutely spot on however when he characterized Obama as lacking the quality of shame. NOTHING about his signature legislation was what it was sold as being. It was pointedly engineered to INCREASE the dollars being removed from the private sector.

Obama inherited a free falling economy crisis that he took quick advantage of by demagoguing the very sector that might create the jobs needed to be the engine of any recovery... those evil and greedy millionaires and billionaires needed to pay their fair share- notwithstanding that they were ALREADY paying disproportionately into the system and as well responsible for maintaining the tax base by furnishing employment- indirectly providing for the tax revenue that flows from the middle income people who work for them. Also- Obama and the filibuster proof majorities he enjoyed early on established another new tradition: operating the government on temporary continuing resolutions instead of agreeing on a budget- perpetuating the very uncertainty that pisses on the spark of job creation. Clearly job creation takes a back seat to the ongoing political leverage that this repeating opportunity presents.... and the subsequent buzz-wording of "fiscal cliff", "sequester", "debt ceiling",... with all the political leverage he's getting from the situation does anyone seriously believe that he wants for there to be any sort of real recovery? Continuing uncertainty is just another ace up his sleeve.

Add to all that the fact that almost before the echoes of his empty presidential oath to uphold the constitution had faded off a successful campaign of harping on the unpatriotic deficits rung up by heartless Republicans, he began to work on a record expansion of the bureaucracy with Obamacare... at a time when tax revenues were getting pinched off as people suddenly found themselves collecting unemployment instead of earning a regular paycheck that enabled Uncle Sham to confiscate tax revenue and entitlement withholding- and does it take a brain surgeon to figure out that in such an environment people aren't going to be buying things? State sales taxes wane- as did municipal receipts from properties whose values were in freefall... more hands out to the messiah. The Obamacare fiasco did not happen in a vacuum- it fits seamlessly into a very apparent campaign to destroy the economy and the pursuit of policies that ensure high unemployment will fester and people will be beholding to the political whims of an administration that seems to particularly enjoy playing the political equivalent of the childhood game, "flinch"... with each continuing resolution deadline used to magnify uncertainty and shake loose a few more jobs from an already unsteady economy while leveraging demand for more government handouts as more and more people get screwed by these childish games.

It seems appropriate that this petulant demagogue is reduced to playing children's playground bullying games to continually leverage what he wants... and clearly anything that would mitigate the deficit collision course to bankruptcy isn't on the table... and the most toxic of things- Obamacare- is not subject to any negotiations... it is his weapon and his alone to manipulate as he pleases. Any relief absolutely MUST stem from executive fiat and not through negotiations where there's any chance for credit to be shared... gratitude must be his and his alone- THAT is the whole point- and NOT the relief. Obamacare serves as his own personal ongoing threat he can personally hold over all our heads to extort support for what he wants.

It may be a problem that we are slowly waking up to the grand deception but it isn't his problem- it's the albatross that must be borne by congressional Democrats unfortunate enough to need reelection and if you think Obama gives an intercourse session at cruising altitude about them then you haven't been paying attention. The article seems to see the debacle as a big miscalculation that Obama is struggling to free himself from and I say that it's just a delicious crisis from which he thinks he can glean what he wants from '14 Democrat hopefuls and as long as a compliant MSM does not break ranks it will be exactly that... because with the word and its presumed credibility by a willfully ignorant population, problems arising from what was deliberately created as an economic time bomb will be successfully blamed on political foes. It will only be through media breaking ranks that people will begin to wake up in numbers to create a real problem for progressives but by then Obama will be out of office and judging by what will likely be his legacy, out of sight.

    • A response to my perhaps fatally verbose missive but maybe there's too much credence being given to good intentions on Barry's part?

  • In all of this, the media has apparently forgotten that Obamacare is a tax and can only exist as a tax. And taxes always hurt the middle class, because the rich can afford 'em and the poor don't pay 'em.

    • I love how Kristen Powers lost her insurance coverage... I hate how she says that she essentially can afford to pay more and she doesn't mind. The b*tch may not mind, but the truth of the matter is that if she and others like her wanted SO BADLY to take care of other people, through the government, all they had to do was give the government more of THEIR OWN MONEY withouth asking or expecting OTHERS to do it by force and through law. I don't understand how these people don't understand that compelling people to do something that OTHERS want is tyranny. Those who will suffer the most are the ones that they purport to want to help. It is really very simple.

  • Uh oh, you are just asking for a "lesson" from someone special about how you really don't understand Louis or Madam du Pomp!

    • OK, how about Obama channelling J. Robert Oppenheimer: "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
