The Feds Violated the Constitution but the Administration Won’t Say How

• The activities of Grover Cleveland and Woodrow Wilson are evidence that the erosion of values started a very long time ago. THe fact we don't know much about it shows an erosion in the quality of jounalism that is fairly recent. Notice how litle was revealed about JFK until long after his death. And I imagine there was much more, but the family is blocking it. I want elected officials to have at least SOME Of the values I believe are American over all. But we no longer have citizen representatives. To pack the Congress after the Civil War, the original plan to rotate the people in the house every 3 years or so was overturned. Now the congress people haven't a clue what 95% of America is doing, believes, or wants. We have elected the government we wanted. Don't like what's going on? CHANGE YOUR VOTE. For that matter, VOTE!

• Obama. THe most Transparent President in History. Um hmmm.

    this whole transparency claim was a canny political move, and nothing more nor less.
    typical of a democracy as we have been known to practice it.
    It is strange though, to me, that we've slid so far as a nation from the morals and the courage of our convictions that it is blase' about our leader's private life, one is reminded of ma ma where's my pa, grover cleveland, though there is no credible evidence of a bastard child, to woodrow wilson, who, i believe was such a philanderer, his own pappy said if he'd been a girl she'd have certainly been "in trouble" many times.
    this is wrong. imho.

• You know... The AMOUNT of training I have to go thru. The audits, etc. to ensure this crap doesn't happen! I don't mind because it protects people's 4th Amendment rights and privacy. But then the leadership goes and does it and THAT pisses me off.

• Ah, it's no big deal. The most transparent administration in history only violated one little amendment to the Constitution. I'm sure they didn't mean it and won't do it again.

• Ten seconds after Romney takes the oath next January, when dissent again becomes patriotic, the Left will be howling for his scalp because he's turning the country into a police state. And besides, as the article mentions in the last sentence, it's probably Bush's fault anyway.

  • But do you really believe Romney is not going to do the same things Bush and Obama have done in the name of "national security." He will, he's said so himself. I get the left are a bunch of hypocrites, let us not be hypocrites as well when it comes to what we would let President Romney get away with and not President Obama.
