Meet Joe Berti, the man who experienced both the Boston and the Texas explosions. And he doesn’t have a scratch on him. He’d just finished running the Boston Marathon when the two bombs went off, then back in Texas two days later he was driving by the fertilizer plant when it exploded. He seems real lucky, but for the sake of other people maybe we should make him stand in the middle of an empty field for a while.

I'm sure he's a lovely person, but yeah, don't know how much I'd want to be standing behind him in line at the bank.
You want to talk REAL lucky (or unlucky -- not sure) there was a rather exclusive group of Japanese citizens who had survived BOTH Hiroshima and Nagasaki! One of them died not too long ago, not sure if he was the last. That story may have appeared on here.
According to Ann Coulter ( so maybe not the most scientific source), the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had lower incidents of cancer than their fellow citizens. Just the opposite of what was expected.
My math teacher in California was one of those citizens.
